Hi there I noticed other software in UK is using PLAID, I just wondered if its an easy API / etc to use for adding other bank connections? I just noticed that many apps don’t integrate with UK banks because open banking is hard or something, but I’m hoping this is the secret! It’s PLAID .com btw. i have absolutely no affiliation I am just using another accounting app to import my transactions (which runs on PLAID) and then my plan is to import to ADAM from there.

The app is beautiful, but as a non-finance person, it is overwhelming to try to train Adam from scratch. I think many could benefit from having a repository with baseline instructions or have those instructions pre-populated in the training section.

For reporting purposes, I do not require certain preloaded accounts and do not wish them to appear in my companies financial reporting. This feature does not seem to be available or requested yet. It would also be nice to toggle between periods on the statements, with perhaps pre-loaded filters like “Last Month”, “Last Qtr”, “Current Year”, “Current Month”, “Last 30 days”, etc… Also would be nice if you could have the report reappear with the filters last applied when you leave the page and hit the back button, that way the filter does not have to be reapplied.

Problem Statement: Right now, when I send an invoice, my clients have to take extra steps to actually pay it (open the invoice, then separately go to PayPal/Stripe/etc.). This creates friction, delays payments, and isn’t as smooth as modern tools where you just click and pay.Proposed Feature: Add the ability to generate invoices that include embedded payment links/buttons (Stripe, PayPal, etc.) so clients can pay in one direct action. It would be very useful to attach check images to transactions so we can see who the payee was. Attach Check Images To Transactions

Please implement sort by column in various tables. Currently I’m trying to find appropriate accounting codes for an expense account, but there’s no way to sort by the Code column, so i have to scroll thru the whole table, or try to remember the name of the account. If I could sort by codes, at least all similar expense types would sort together.

It would be great to have sub-categories to better organize expenses. For instance, I can currently categorize as Expense/Advertising, but it would be good to further categorize by vendor, such as Expense/Advertising/Facebook or Google Ads, etc. We also run a nonprofit, and we give grants and contributions to other nonprofits. Similar to above, it would be great to categorize as Program Service Expenses/Grants and Contributions/[Charity Name], for better record keeping and reporting.
